Return Policy

At Select Electrical Supplies Ltd we understand that sometimes you can change your mind or very rarely items can be received damaged in transit or faulty.

Items no longer required or ordered incorrectly

As part of our returns policy unwanted items or items ordered in error can be returned to us for a refund as long as they are as-new, unused, in their original packing and ready for resale. Specially altered items (such as cut lengths of cable) are non-returnable. Specially ordered items may attract a handling/re-stocking charge.

To cancel the contract please pack the items well and return to us at with all relevant paperwork within 7 working days after the date that the item(s) were delivered to you.

The buyer is responsible for the cost and safe return of the goods ordered therefore we strongly recommend you use a tracked or recorded service for your protection.

Once your goods are received we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item within 7 working days.

We do our best to accommodate the return of goods ordered in error by contractors & companies. However, depending on the reason for the return, we reserve the right to charge a fee for this service.

Items received damaged or incomplete

If any products are delivered damaged or incomplete you can obtain a replacement or a full refund provided we are contacted within a maximum of 2 working days from receipt of your order and the items are returned to us, unless we agree to replace without sight of the damaged item.

Items received incomplete/short shipped

If any products are delivered incomplete/short shipped we must be notified in writing within a maximum of 2 working days from receipt of your order. We will then investigate on a case by case basis, where the appropriate action will be taken as a result of the investigation.

Items which are Faulty

Where possible we recommend that the manufactures technical departments are contacted directly to ensure the fault is genuine and not the result of wiring or set up errors. Upon confirmation of a genuine fault we offer the following two options:

  • a) We can supply a pre-paid postage label* for you to return the unit to us and we will dispatch a replacement upon receipt.


  •  b) You can purchase an Advance Replacement unit, which we send to you, this allows you to have the units exchanged at your own convenience. We will provide you with a pre-paid postage label* so that you can then return the faulty unit to us for a refund. (The Advance Replacement can simply be purchased on line as if you were buying a new unit.
